I feel like the last 3 weeks have been a year! So many things have happened and I have talked to so few you you,my friends:
Vacation has ended and school has begun;Homes have been lost,homes have been gained;Some have moved and some have stayed;Babies have been born and babies have died;New jobs have been found and old jobs have been lost;Loved ones have fallen ill and loved ones have recovered;Marriages have been made and marriages have been broken;Valuables have been lost and valuables have been found;Friends have rejoiced at meeting and friends have cried at leaving;Children have returned home and children have left home;And as for me and mineWe have said goodbye and we have said helloTo our new life.These last few weeks Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 has been streaming through my mind:
To every thing there is a season,and a time to every purpose under the heaven:2A time to be born,and a time to die;a time to plant,and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3A time to kill,and a time to heal;a time to break down,and a time to build up;
4A time to weep,and a time to laugh;a time to mourn,and a time to dance;
5A time to cast away stones,and a time to gather stones together;a time to embrace,and a time to refrain from embracing;
6A time to get,and a time to lose;a time to keep,and a time to cast away;
7A time to rend,and a time to sew;a time to keep silence,and a time to speak;
8A time to love,and a time to hate;a time of war,and a time of peace.
I have missed being a part of all your lives this last three weeks and hope to be settled and in communication again soon.
